DKV Mobility expands Benelux presence with MKB Brandstof acquisition

DKV Mobility has acquired MKB Brandstof, a Dutch provider of fuel and charging card services for business customers, further strengthening its position in one of Europe’s most advanced e-mobility markets.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. MKB Brandstof, headquartered in Rotterdam, will continue to operate as an independent brand within the DKV Mobility Group.
An important acquisition for DKV Mobility
The acquisition adds around 55,000 SME customers to DKV Mobility’s portfolio and expands its presence in the Netherlands, where demand for integrated fuel, charging and mobility services continues to grow. MKB Brandstof offers access to approximately 76,000 fuel stations and more than one million EV charging points across Europe, alongside home and workplace charging solutions.
The transaction follows DKV Mobility’s recent acquisition of Belgian mobility platform Optimile, highlighting the company’s strategy to strengthen its footprint across the Benelux region.

“Following the acquisition of Optimile, this is the next milestone in expanding our market position in the Benelux countries,” said DKV Mobility CEO Sebastian Klauke.
Remco Slik, CEO of MKB Brandstof, described the agreement as “the next logical step” in the company’s development, saying it will enable the business to further expand its mobility services while supporting customers in the transition to electric mobility.
The deal reflects the ongoing consolidation of Europe’s fleet mobility sector, as providers increasingly combine fuel payments, EV charging and digital fleet services into integrated platforms designed to support the decarbonisation of commercial transport.
