The new Axon Easy 400 EV charger developed by Polish specialist Ekoenergetyka (we saw it at Solutrans 2023) will be employed by ORLEN Deutschland, the German unit of Poland’s largest multi-energy group ORLEN S.A.

Axon Easy 400 is a high-power DC charging station suitable not only for cars, but above all for heavy-duty commercial vehicles, too. The chargers feature an LED availability indicator with 360-degree visibility, vandalism-resistant technology, cables up to 10 meters long and a 24-inch independent advertising screen.

Axon Easy 400 EV for accurate charging

The new charger is compliant with Germany’s Eichrecht calibration law, which ensures consumers that charging is accurate and transparent, as well as the Plug & Charge payment standard, which allows drivers to use a charging station without needing to present a credit card or use a mobile app.

“We are proud to be working with ORLEN Group, which has strong brands, an extensive network and the ambition to become a leader among charge point operators in our part of Europe,” said Ekoenergetyka CEO and Co-Founder Bartosz Kubik. “The Axon Easy 400 will help us deliver on our strategy of becoming a top provider to charging-point operators, and this contract will give us even greater credibility as we push into this demanding market.”
