The latest additional funding round $6.3M that was concluded in May 2021 allowed for this plan to be carried out».
Local production to be set up later on
This new office will be the company’s second location and will allow Rocsys to serve the customers within the region and tailor solutions to North American market needs and specifications. In the coming years, Rocsys will set up local production for the North American market, complying to the Buy American Act.
Crijn Bouman, CEO and co-founder of Rocsys, says: «The electric vehicle market is growing tremendously fast, and we have developed a solution to help it scale even further. We chose Portland, Oregon to be close to our customers and manufacturers on the West Coast. In addition, Portland serves as a robust hub of community and industry stakeholders who are committed to transportation electrification. We are glad that there is so much trust in our company.
