As Gerrit Marx will leave the Group to take up his appointment as the CEO of CNH Industrial, Persson, who is currently an Iveco Group Board Independent Director, will step in to the role of CEO on 1st July, 2024.

As announed during the Capital Markets Day in Turin, Iveco Group and Hyundai will work together to develop electric heavy-duty trucks in Europe. With Ford Trucks, the agreement deals with new heavy truck cabins in view of 2028-2029.

In the context of the collaboration, ChargePoint will provide integrated charging services to simplify the electrification journey for GATE’s customers. The offerings are now available in Italy and will roll out across Europe in sync with GATE’s own operations.

The studies will focus on the contribution of digitalisation, aided by Artificial Intelligence algorithms, in the design of new, innovative propulsion systems to support the transition towards a more sustainable future.
