Aumovio completes sale of Mechelen plant to Dumarey Group
Aumovio has completed the sale of its manufacturing site in Mechelen, Belgium, to Dumarey Group, finalising the transaction announced last April. The plant and around 300 employees are being transferred to Dumarey, while existing customer relationships remain with Aumovio.

Aumovio has completed the sale of its manufacturing site in Mechelen, Belgium, to Dumarey Group, bringing to a close the transaction first announced in April.
The agreement includes the transfer of the plant and around 300 employees to Dumarey Group. Existing customer relationships for the products currently manufactured in Mechelen will remain with Aumovio.
As previously announced, the Belgian site will initially continue manufacturing these products for Aumovio under a contract manufacturing agreement, while the latter gradually transfers production to other locations.
Dumarey takes over the Mechelen site
For Dumarey, the acquisition provides an additional industrial site from which to develop and introduce new products and activities. The transition is expected to take place gradually alongside the existing production operations.
For Aumovio, meanwhile, the transaction forms part of the ongoing consolidation of its global manufacturing footprint. The company had announced the agreement with Dumarey last April, subject to the completion of the required procedures and closing conditions.
