Former Volta Trucks manager Carla Detrieux is set to become MAN Truck & Bus zero-emission development manager for France and Europe. Carla Detrieux (here’s the article about the last chat we had with her, a few months ago) worked for newcomer Volta Trucks from 2021 until the very end of the company. She’s been recognized as quite a skilled business developer, although her former company did not succeed at the end.

Carla Detrieux from Volta Trucks to MAN

MAN Truck & Bus is delighted to be recruiting a figure who embodies “a new generation of leadership focused on sustainability and strategic execution”. On the other hand, Carla Detrieux says she’s “proud to be joining MAN at a time when innovation, reliability, and cooperation with our customers and partners will be crucial to the success of this transformation”.

MAN has recently started series production of their first electric truck models at the company’s assembly site located in Munich. MAN’s electric TGX has already been running on more than 5 million km all over Europe with the very first batch of trucks produced and made available to customers.
