Chinese commercial vehicle brand Farizon (Geely Group) has put first 200kW hydrogen truck into mass production. According to the specialized Chinese editorial platform China Trucks, the first 100 units of the so-called Xinghan G 200kW hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck rolled out at the beginning of March, 2025.

Farizon’s first mass-produced hydrogen truck

Farizon’s plan is to assemble at least 600 hydrogen truck units in the next weeks. Indeed, it’s China’s first mass production of 200kW hydrogen-powered trucks. China Trucks states that “this deployment is expected to drive the adoption of green transportation across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region”.

Based on a 62kg hydrogen storage system, the Xinghan G 200kW truck boasts over 700 km range. Farizon has just landed in the UK with the smaller Farizon SV electric van, now available in the UK under the partnership with local distributors Jameel Motors.
