Global tyre manufacturer Hankook introduced new summer tyres for vans and light commercial vehicles, called Vantra Transit. According to the maufacturer, among the major features of this summer tyre are high mileage, reliable safety and low rolling resistance.

In technical terms, the Vantra Transit tyre line combines innovative technologies with a robust construction. Its optimised tread design and wider tread reduce wear and increase mileage by up to 18 percent compared with its predecessor, while the innovative tread compound reduces rolling resistance by 15 percent compared with conventional tyres in the light commercial vehicle segment, saving commercial clients money on tyre changes and fuel.

In addition, the reinforced carcass structure enables a high load capacity, ideal for use on fully laden vehicles. Thanks to its deformation-resistant 3D GripControl sipes, the Vantra Transit also cuts braking distances by 9 percent and boosts stability on wet surfaces by 13 percent.

“With the Vantra Transit, we are expanding our range of light commercial vehicles and offering a high-performance solution for transport professionals,” said Jongho Park, President and COO of Hankook Tire Europe. “The tyre combines high mileage with safety and efficiency – crucial factors for commercial customers who rely on their vehicles on a daily basis and keep a close eye on operating costs.”
