IVECO has completed the delivery of 65 IVECO S-WAY Gas trucks in LNG version to Lithuanian transport operator Vlantana. The company, which has a running park of 1,650 vehicles, is significantly extending its gas fleet with the new vehicles. It has chosen IVECO’s gas trucks for their environmental performance when running on LNG or Bio-LNG. In its commitment to delivering green transport, Vlantana is taking the lead in Lithuania, beginning to convert its fleet to gas-powered early on, before the existence of a fuelling network in the country. It is also planning to invest in a natural gas filling station on their premises near Klaipèda, close to Lithuania’s main motorway. This will be the first station in the country.
