Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ Remote 3.0 App is the digital tool that allows drivers to stay in contact with their eActros 600 electric trucks. The app will be available for the eActros 600 and from summer 2025 also for other Mercedes-Benz trucks. The prerequisite for use is an active TruckLive contract of the company that owns or operates the truck and that the truck is equipped with the Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 and the Truck Data Centre 8.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks relies on newly-developed App

In particular, the mobile app allows truck drivers to view various relevant vehicle functions in national and international long-distance haulage directly via mobile phone. The app displays urgent messages in the form of push notifications.

In the battery-electric eActros 600, the battery level, range, charge level and the time remaining until the desired target charge level is reached, are displayed. During the charging process, the driver receives full transparency about the charging status at all times using the app and can monitor it. The push notification informs you, for example, as soon as a charging process starts, is interrupted or is completed after reaching the target charge level, so that no time is lost on the trip. Mobile Mercedes-Benz Trucks Remote 3.0 is available for smartphones from iOS 15 and Android 9 within the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
