Mercedes-Benz Trucks and battery management system (BMS) specialist Munich Electrification partner on BMS for the batteries of the eActros 300/400 electric trucks. The system integrates a reliable Battery Management Unit (BMU) and state-of-the-art Cell Monitoring Board (CMB).

“We are proud to support one of the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers in executing their electrification strategy with our fully in-house developed Bologna BMS platform. This platform features a flexible software architecture that allows quick adaptation to various battery pack architectures and vehicle interfaces”, stated Munich Electrification about the partnership with Mercedes.

A high-performance BMS for Mercedes eActros trucks

The so-called Bologna Battery Management Unit is developed and certified as a safety component out of context according to ISO26262 standards. The BMS satisfies safety requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s electrified automotive world and operates up to a voltage of 950 V.
