Milence opens second Italian charging hub in Piacenza
Milence announces that four 400 kW charging stations have been installed for a total of five parking spaces. In Piacenza, there are also bathrooms and showers available to drivers at minimal cost, as well as Wi-Fi access.
With a post on its official LinkedIn page, the Milence joint venture announced the opening of its second Italian fast-charging hub, specifically designed for electric trucks. The new station, already operational, is located in Piacenza, an important crossroads for national and international transport.
Milence made its debut in Italy earlier this year with the inauguration of its first charging hub in Bagnolo San Vito, in the province of Mantua. The first hub is located on the so-called Brennero motorway (A22), connecting Italy and Austria along the Mediterranean-Scandinavian TEN-T route.

The Piacenza hub is arriving even earlier than expected: at the inauguration event for the first hub, Milence executives announced that it would open in early 2026. And speaking of development plans, at the end of October, at the international conference on commercial transport organized by Dekra in Berlin (here is our report), Milence CEO Anja van Niersen said that the joint venture’s goal is to build 90 fast charging stations in Europe by 2027. Right now, there are just over 30 active stations in Europe.
