Back in February, this year, Valeo and Siemens had announced the intention to deeply change the company structure. Now, les jeux sent faites, as French would say, and Valeo holds 100% of Valeo Siemens eAutomotive.

Seven production lines will be operating in Valdarno. These will be capable to produce one DC fast charger every 20 minutes. Even the Terra 360 fast charger, which can deliver 100 km of range in less than three minutes, will be manufactured at the Italian center.

The collaboration also aims to develop a joint offer addressing the e-mobility of commercial fleets, including but not limited to recharging infrastructure for light and heavy commercial vehicles.

The ZEZ pilot will allow Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council to gain useful insights before introducing a larger ZEZ covering most of Oxford city centre next year (2023), subject to further public consultation.

The Swedish Energy Agency decided to support the company by giving Stena about 6.8 million euros. The facility is expected to initially handle around 10,000 tonnes of batteries per year. This will include lithium-ion batteries from electric cars as well as industrial and consumer products.
