The Irizar Group is currently able to offer vehicles for all types of truck bodies. The newly-introduced vehicle is fitted with the Group's third generation higher energy density batteries for more on-board power.

The model chosen is the zero-emission electric Irizar ie truck and the vehicles will be delivered by the end of 2023. Donostia thus becomes the first Basque city to include an all-electric truck in its fleet.

At the company's booth the electric ie truck definitely stood up with its grey body. The truck has been designed by the Irizar Group in response to the needs of cities and urban environments, without generating atmospheric or noise pollution.

The truck is 100 percent electric truck with a 6x2 three axle chassis configuration. It will be equipped with Irizar ion-lithium batteries with 340 kWh capacity and charged by means of a Combo 2 charging point in 3.5 hours using a Jema Energy (Irizar Group company) model charger.

Mass production of the first 10 units includes 4x2 and 6x2 of two and three-axle versions of the Irizar ie urban truck, 100 percent electric and capable to circulate in cities and urban areas.
