Tata Motors to complete Iveco Group acquisition by Q3, 2026

Q2 2027 on the Indian fiscal calendar, in fact, corresponds to the third quarter of 2026 on the Anglo-Saxon fiscal calendar. Tata Motors is expected to complete the acquisition of Iveco Group by Q3, 2026, as already communicated by the two companies. The entire operation was announced more or less one year ago. The news comes from several media platforms, including Indian ET Auto. The international website quotes Tata Chairman N Chandrasekaran, speaking at the company’s annual general meeting.

“We have secured the majority of these regulatory approvals, arnd are progressing well on the remaining few. We look forward to completing the transaction by Q3, 2026”, he said. Tata Motors is expected to increase international footprint by acquiring Iveco Group. As reported last year, the entire operation, which does not include the Defense business, is worth 3.8 billion euros.
