Danish FREJA Transport & Logistics has been using the TrailerConnect solution from Schmitz Cargobull for ten years now. A long lasting partnership, indeed, recently celebrated with a dedicated event in Münster. FREJA and Schmitz Cargobull have been cooperating for almost 20 years overall, and the TrailerConnect telematics system from Schmitz Cargobull had been in use on vehicles of the Danish transport company since 2012.

What then TrailerConnect system can do

As well as indicating the location of the trailer, the trailer telematics system provides intelligent networking and a rapid diagnosis of all the trailer components, together with reliable integrated temperature management in the refrigerated vehicles. The telematics system enables processes to be optimised and transport safety to be increased. Schmitz Cargobull states that currently over 2,000 trailers in the fleet are equipped with the TrailerConnect telematics system.
