In this letter to transport ministers from the 27 Member States of the EU and key European Parliament Rapporteurs today, IRU, ACEA, T&E and Hydrogen Europe call for ambitious and timely targets for the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure.

The study, reported by T&E, analyses six countries which account for 76% of new vans sold in Europe: France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, and the UK. The European van market seems to be ready to go electric.

The direction is clear: the future is driving without CO2. Because whether hydrogen or electric: emissions that are harmful to the climate will soon be a thing of the past.
