Volta Trucks and global technology company ZF (namely, ZF Commercial Vehicle Solutions) reached a valuable agreement, according to which the all-electric Volta Zero urban distribution truck will be equipped with several components and solutions from the German group.

The result is a system that recuperates up to four times more energy than a conventional compressed air brake system, optimising the range of the Tevva truck. Testing of the adapted system took place at the ZF test track in Jeversen, Germany.
