Krone and Webfleet will cooperate in order to boost trailer telematics solutions via Webfleet’s OEM.connect partner programme. Among the main targets of the collaboration is the opportunity granted to commercial fleet operators to easily connect their Krone trailers to the Webfleet platform via factory fitted telematics, eliminating the need for aftermarket hardware installations.

Users will then be able to access powerful trailer data to boost trailer utilisation, reduce downtime and improve overall safety and security while saving costs and time. Practically speaking, transport companies will have the possibility to activate the Webfleet integration easily via the Krone telematics platform, keeping full control over their data.

Krone and Webfleet to rely on valuable trailer telematics

Real-time monitoring, proactive maintenance and TPMS are among the main benefits of the programme. “Utilising our OEM.connect programme is the quickest way to get trailers online and start enjoying the benefits of the Webfleet platform that supports you to efficiently manage your trailer fleet,’’ commented Jan-Maarten de Vries, President Fleet Management Solutions at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions.

Maximilian Birle, Managing Director Krone Digital, added: “By cooperating with Webfleet, we are offering our customers advanced telematics features with an easy-to-use interface from one of the leading fleet management solutions in Europe. With the touch of a button, hauliers can get advanced data intelligence and insights with no expenses related to downtime or installation”.
