Primary trailer manufacturer Krone announced newly-established partnership with Mapon, one of Northern Europe’s leading fleet management solution providers. The companies want to develop an integration solution for more efficient data processing and analysis in the logistics industry. This is expected to allow users to easily access data from Krone trailers and chassis, such as location, cold storage temperatures, door security, tire pressure, and other critical information.

Since logistics companies often operate vehicles from multiple manufacturers, Mapon’s system allows customers to view and analyze all real-time data on a single dashboard. Carriers will not need to install additional equipment – the Mapon and Krone integration ensures a secure exchange of information between the data centers of both companies.

Krone is working on easier data integration

Mapon, a Draugiem Group company, is one of Northern Europe’s leading fleet management and asset-tracking solution providers. The company has over 30,000 clients and a broad network of partners across Europe, the US, Latin America, Australia, and Africa.

“In today’s increasingly digitalized world, seamless data exchange between partners is key. Our partnership with Mapon highlights our dedication to offering Krone trailer customers advanced tools to optimize their processes and remain competitive. This integration ensures they can access and utilize critical fleet data effortlessly, enabling smarter decision-making and operational excellence”, commented Maximilian Birle, Head of Krone Digital Services.

“Krone is one of the industry leaders, and collaborating with such a globally renowned company is a significant step forward in Mapon’s growth, opening up new opportunities for us. It demonstrates that a company with over a century of history trusts our team and expertise. We will work diligently to prove they made the right choice, and together, we’ll continue to develop innovative solutions for the logistics industry,” added Davis Siksnans, CEO at Mapon.
