Windrose will ship components to Antwerp, where the electric trucks will be assembled. The finished vehicles, which meet all required European certifications, will then be exported to other European markets and potentially North America as well.

DAF is expanding its programme of fully electric trucks to include a wide range of 6x2, 6x4 and 8x4 tractor and rigid models for specific applications and the construction industry. The new chassis models are available for both the XD and XF Electric and the new XG and XG+ Electric.
