Elinta Motors is a Lithuanian pioneer in electric mobility. The company develops in-house electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid drives for retrofitting vehicles up to 7.2 tons. From early prototypes to the advanced GEN II PHEV system, these advanced powertrains are driving sustainable transportation across Europe.

In particular, within Elinta Motors PHEV-120 system, an electric motor delivers up to 160 kW peak power and 1,262 Nm torque, enabling strong performance on both city streets and country roads, while regenerative braking recovers up to 60 kW. Vehicles can run fully electric for roughly 100 km, or in hybrid modes that balance fuel savings and extended range. The PHEV-120 offers flexible driving modes: EV for zero-emission city driving, Hybrid for blended power, Hybrid ECO for maximum efficiency, and Charge to replenish the battery on the go.

Elinta Motors’ GEN II PHEV Systems

According to Elinta Motors, these solutions are already helping fleets in Romania, Germany, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Lithuania move toward a more sustainable future. More than 100 Elinta Motors PHEV vehicles are already operating in Romania alone, demonstrating the system’s reliability and real-world performance in daily commercial use.

Elinta Motors estimates operating cost reductions of up to €0.17 per kilometre versus diesel-only trucks, translating to about €6,000 annual savings for typical commercial duty cycles. The PHEV system is designed to deliver power, high torque, efficient energy recovery, while lowering operating cost and emissions.

Indeed, industry guidelines support Elinta Motors’ mission. ACEA recommends tailored policies for vans (up to 4.25 t. GVW), including realistic CO₂ targets and compliance timelines, ensuring electrified solutions like GEN II PHEV systems deliver both performance and sustainability while staying cost-effective for fleets.
