Flexis is the name of the joint venture, aimed at developing innovative and software-based electric vans, shared by Renault, Volvo, and CMA-CGM, the latter with 10% overall stake. Introduced with an international event back in April, Flexis now boosts a modern and catchy website. Here it’s possible to find all the relevant information about the project set to revolutionise the light commercial vehicle market in Europe and respond to the challenge launched by Far Eastern players, including the company’s strucure, starting from CEO Philippe Divry. Flexis aims to launch the very first vehicles by 2026

As we wrote in this post, the partners involved in the Flexis project have given themselves two years to define and strengthen the structure before moving on to mass production of the vans. Over the next few years, Renault and Volvo have planned investments of 300 million euros each, while CMA CGM is expected to invest about 120 million. Flexis SAS will be headquartered in France and will build its electric vans at Renault’s Sandouville plant, also in France.
