“After 25 wonderful years at DAF and nine years serving in the Board of Management, I will retire as DAF President per mid July and pass the DAF leadership baton per July 1st to my successor Jim Walenczak“. With these words, DAF Trucks President, Harald Seidel, announced quite a relevant change at the held of the Dutch truck maker.

“It has been a privilege to lead DAF Trucks as the 12th President-Directeur in the history of our company, to accelerate the sustainable business transformation to zero emission road transport and to serve our customers with truck & transport solutions that drive the world to a better future”, he added.

“I am so proud of the DAF team and the many accomplishments we achieved together over the past nine years in which I served in the DAF Board of Management: the introduction of the New Generation DAF Trucks, the start of series production of our battery electric trucks, winning 3x the Prestigious International Truck of the Year Award in 2022, 2023 and 2026, starting the DAF Helping Hands foundation to support local charities, initiating our program for open & inclusive culture ‘TOGETHER WE ARE DAF’, and first and foremost: putting the Customer First in everything we do!”.
