Pioneering trailer engineering since 1893, Kässbohrer has confirmed its participation at IAA Transportation 2026, where it will exhibit in Hall 27 (Stand E11) and the outdoor area M51. The trailer manufacturer will use the Hannover exhibition to present its latest developments under the banner “Efficiency to the Next Level”, focusing on operational efficiency, sustainability and lower total cost of ownership.

According to the company, the display will reflect its “Power of Engineering” approach, translating R&D capabilities into practical solutions for operators across general cargo, refrigerated transport, intermodal logistics, bulk, liquid and heavy-duty applications. Vehicles validated over 2.5 million kilometres, lightweight designs and award-winning innovations will all feature in the exhibition.

New products across multiple transport segments

IAA Transportation 2026 will also serve as the launch platform for several new Kässbohrer products. Among the highlights will be a new two-axle pendulum low-bed trailer for heavy haulage, alongside developments for silo transport, curtainsiders, container chassis and refrigerated trailers. The company will also showcase solutions supporting battery-electric freight transport, including its SSL 33 Zero Emission Cement Silo, equipped with an electric compressor designed to eliminate the need for diesel-powered auxiliary equipment during unloading.

The exhibition reflects Kässbohrer’s strategy of addressing a broad range of transport sectors rather than focusing on a single technology. Alongside payload optimisation and durability improvements, the company continues to invest in solutions that support decarbonisation without compromising operational performance.

K-Expert Talks to discuss zero-emission freight

In parallel with the vehicle exhibition, Kässbohrer will host its K-Expert Talks, bringing together industry representatives to discuss the challenges of scaling up zero-emission freight transport. The programme will focus on the infrastructure, technologies and operational models needed to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable logistics.

For Kässbohrer, IAA Transportation 2026 represents an opportunity not only to unveil new products but also to reinforce its positioning as a manufacturer focused on engineering-driven efficiency, combining lower operating costs, higher payload and greater operational uptime with solutions tailored to the evolving requirements of the transport industry.
