MAN and TIP Group have recently signed a new framework agreement, according to which TIP Group, e a leading independent commercial vehicle rental company, will purchase about 1,800 MAN trucks (ICE and electric) from 2026 to 2028. It’s about 600 vehicles per year, according to the official communications.

The agreement deals with a total of up to 1,800 vehicles of all weight classes, from 7.5 to 42 tonnes, and spans 18 European countries. Battery-electric trucks are also part of the contract.

MAN and TIP Group: the agreement involves ICE and electric vehicles

TIP Group is an European benchmark company providing lease and rental full-service equipment solutions for over 55 years. Headquartered in Amsterdam, TIP has an extensive fleet of trailers, trucks, reefers, chassis, and specialised equipment. With a network of 135 service locations spanning 17 countries and a fleet of over 90,000 assets, TIP Group serves customers across Europe.

“Supporting customers through the transition means offering the right solutions at the right time,” said Arjen Kraaij, CEO of TIP Group. “By working closely with partners like MAN, we can expand our fleet with both highly efficient diesel trucks and electric trucks, giving operators practical choices that balance performance, cost efficiency and sustainability.” Since 2024, TIP has been focusing on zero-emission solutions and was the first rental company to integrate a larger number of MAN eTGX long-haul vehicles into its fleet.
