Renault Trucks sold slightly more than 2,600 electric vehicles in 2025
This growth is primarily driven by electric light commercial vehicles; deliveries virtually tripled from 625 units in 2024 to 1,812 units in 2025. On the other hand, On the European electric medium and heavy-duty segment, Renault Trucks recorded 800 vehicles invoiced (-20% compared to 2024).
Last year was quite a challenging one for Renault Trucks, similarly to all the other truck makers in Europe. Indeed, the French manufacturer, part of the Volvo Group, suffered from the difficult European market scenario. Overall, Renault Trucks invoiced 48,362 vehicles invoiced (-4% compared to 2024) in Europe, and 6,649 vehicles (+3%) in the rest of the world.

Nevertheless, in Europe, Renault Trucks recorded an increase of 0.3 percentage points in market share, reaching 9.4% in the over 16 ton segment, considering EU27 plus Switzerland, Norway, and the United Kingdom. In home country France, Renault Trucks ended the year with a 29.8% market share (+ 0.1 points).
Speaking of electromobility, Renault Trucks invoiced 2,612 electric vehicles in 2025, which represents a 60% increase over 2024 (1,628 units). Renault Trucks’ electric vehicle offer
In terms of vehicle offer, Renault Trucks “is committed to the scaling up of the electrification of road freight transportation and has invested accordingly, adding new electric trucks to its range”. The following electric trucks, as confirmed at Solutrans 2025, will go into production in 2026:
- The Renault Trucks E-Tech D, ultra-compact trucks for urban deliveries, available in 12- and 14-tonne versions, manufactured at Blainville-sur-Orne (Calvados, France);
- The Renault Trucks E-Tech T 540, designed for regional haulage, manufactured in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain, France);
- The Renault Trucks E-Tech T 585, a model which optimises payload capacity, manufactured in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain, France);
- The Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780, a long-haul electric truck, which offers 600 km of range on a single charge, manufactured in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain, France).
