The first paper issue of Sustainable Truck&Van Magazine in 2025 is online! You can freely browse it at the link below. Plus, the magazine will be available to the visitors of ACT Expo, the leading trade show on sustainable commercial mobility, to be held in Anaheim (California) from April 28 to May 1. Sustainable Truck&Van is once again media partner of the international event.

STV Magazine. The first issue of the year

The cover story of this issue is devoted to the current state of several startups in the hydrogen and electric business, with some of them forced to bankruptcy between the end of last year and the beginning of this year. Some examples? Nikola, Hyvia, Canoo, Tevva. With some more companies currently in trouble, even though still alive, such as Quantron, or Hyzon. For this reason, we were inspired by the very famous international TV show Squid Game.

Closely connected are the report over market trends, both in the U.S., thanks to CALSTART, and in Europe, with the latest ACEA data on zero-emission vehicle registrations. We also have three valuable interviews with Volta Trucks, and FLYNT top management (by the way, two positive stories in the zero-emission CV business), as well as a chat with Jacob Richard from CALSTART.

Our trips and smart tests

Then, some of our trips. To Paris for the presentation of the Flexis project, to Darmstadt to get to know one of the major gigafactories in Europe (BorgWarner’s), and to Bagnolo San Vito (Northern Italy) to experience the very first Milence charging hub in Italy.

Finally, our smart tests, devoted to the driving impressions of electric trucks and vans available on the market. This time, we focused on the Nissan Interstar-E electric large vans, as well as on the full electric and plug-in hybrid Ford Pro lineup.
