Windrose electric truck, featuring 670-km range, has gained all 43 certificates needed to achieve EU homologation. The founder of the Chinese company, Wen Han, shared the news on his LinkedIn account. Han truly thinks the electric trucks, which will be manufactured, according to the company’s plans, also in Europe and in the U.S., besides China, will cost about 250,000 euros in the market. Windrose’s first EU homologated trucks are expected to arrive in Europe by the end of the current year.

“For the last 44 months since Windrose Technology was founded, I have been told many times that we would never be homologated, given our unique design. Many experts also told our team that this shows that we do not understand how to build a truck”, Han commented. Windrose will be among the exhibitors of Solutrans 2025, to be held in Lyon from 18 to 22 November.

In addition, the Windrose electric truck has also achieved another significant result in Spain, covering almost 1,400 km during a single day with one intermediate charge. The trial was operated by CEVA Logistics.
