Chinese electric truck maker Windrose has recently announced the beginning of a cooperation with FleetNet America by Cox Automotive. Windrose will rely on their extended service network of over 65,000 service points in North America.

We’ve seen the Windrose innovative long-haul electric trucks at the recent ACT Expo, held in Anaheim at the end of April. The Windrose R700 Class 8 electric truck is designed to meet the needs of real-world long-haul operations with a 729kWh battery, up to 420 miles of range, and dual charging support (CCS, MCS, and dual gun rapid charging). Windrose vehicles are already deployed across four continents—North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania—and are interoperable with more than 200 charging providers worldwide.

Windrose will rely on a very extended service network in the U.S.

Indeed, FleetNet America handled over 750,000 events and took more than 2.5 million service calls in 2024 alone. Backed by advanced telematics through Geotab, FleetNet delivers managed maintenance, roadside support, VMRS coding, tow audits, and more — available 24/7/365.

“Service accessibility is mission-critical for fleets adopting new technology,” said Wen Han Founder, chairman, and CEO of Windrose Technology. FleetNet’s national reach, 24/7 support, and deep expertise in vehicle uptime make them an ideal partner as we scale in the U.S. and help more fleets make the switch to electric.”

“Most of the U.S. supply chain moves on trucks—and those trucks can’t afford downtime,” added Aaron Picozzi Mobile Client Sales Director, FleetNet America. “Partnering with Windrose allows us to support the next generation of heavy-duty vehicles with the same reliability and scale our customers expect.”
