Wolfgang Kolb was appointed Chief Security Officer (CSO) of BMZ Germany, a global specialist in lithium-ion batteries. Mr Kolb has gained almost 20 years of management experience in sales, amongst others in companies as Carthago Reisemobilbau GmbH, AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group and ROHR Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH belonging to the automotive sector.

BMZ Germany’s new CSO

He thus brings to the BMZ Group in-depth industry expertise and an appropriate network within a market in which electrification is currently the driving force. “I am very much looking forward to the new challenge in one of the most innovative, important and diverse industries of our time”, commented Wolfgang Kolb.

In this role, Wolfgang Kolb replaces the previous CSO Frank Baumann. Frank Baumann will ascend to the role of BMZ Holding GmbH’s Group CSO and assume responsibility for the global sales apparatus within the rapidly growing group of companies.
