Daimler Truck has recently added the flagship eActros 600 electric truck model to its rental vehicle portfolio in Germany. Under the so-called CharterWay brand, the long-haul electric trucks will be available for rental, as well as the eActros 300 and 400 or the eEconic, or the FUSO eCanter.

The eActros 600 available for rental

This happened in June 2025. “With the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, we enable a sustainable and cost-effective alternative for heavy-duty haulage and make the entry into electromobility simple and risk-free,” said Martin Kehnen, CEO of CharterWay.

The rental solution is a growing market in Europe, as well as an alternative option for companies willing to approach electric mobility, but at the same time worried about the high vehicle cost. CharterWay brings forward a practical truck-as-a-service business model based on pay-per-use logics. In addition, CharterWay will later this year become part of Daimler Truck Financial Services, instead of Daimler Truck AG.
