Komma Cargo aims to bridge the gap between electric vans and cargo bikes
At just 85 cm wide, the new Komma Cargo combines a four-wheel tilting architecture with 1,000 litres of cargo capacity, a top speed of 95 km/h and up to 160 km of range. The electric commercial vehicle has been designed primarily for urban delivery operations.

Komma has unveiled Komma Cargo, a new ultra-compact electric commercial vehicle designed to combine some of the operating capabilities of a van with the agility and small footprint of a cargo bike.
At just 85 cm wide, the four-wheel vehicle has been developed to travel through congested streets and restricted urban areas while retaining sufficient road capability to operate directly between distribution centres and final delivery destinations.
The concept is intended to remove the need for an intermediate urban hub in some delivery operations, allowing the same vehicle to cover both the journey into the city and the final mile. Komma Cargo will make its public debut at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover.
Komma Cargo: 160 km range and 1,000 litres of cargo space
Despite its narrow footprint, Komma Cargo offers 1,000 litres of cargo volume. A modular 15 kWh battery provides up to 160 km of range, while top speed is 95 km/h. The vehicle weighs 330 kg and can be driven with a standard car driving licence.

A key element of the vehicle is Komma’s proprietary active tilting system, designed to combine the stability of a four-wheel architecture with the agility required by such a narrow vehicle. In-hub electric motors and an aerodynamically optimised design are intended to keep energy consumption low.
According to testing carried out by the company, Komma Cargo was able to deliver a van load 19% faster and handle 22% more packages during an eight-hour shift. Komma estimates that, depending on the operating model, driver productivity could increase by between 20 and 40%.
The company sees urban delivery as the vehicle’s primary application, although the platform could also be used for municipal operations, maintenance and infrastructure services or rapid-response applications.
