Mercedes‑Benz Trucks will deliver more than 500 Actros L ProCabin trucks to Lithuanian company TRANSTIRA, headquartered in Vilnius, during 2026. Indeed, TRANSTIRA is expanding its capacity in European long‑haul transport while continuing the modernization of its fleet.

The Actros L ProCabin stands out for aerodynamics and efficiency. A front end extended by 80 millimeters, optimized airflow management, and reduced panel gaps improve the airflow around the vehicle. According to the German truck maker, this can reduce fuel consumption in long‑haul operations by up to three percent, with additional efficiency delivered by the third generation of the OM 471 diesel engine.

500 Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin for TRANSTIRA

As pointed out by Mercedes-Benz Trucks, among other features, the ProCabin offers new seats, optimized beds with mattresses, additional USB‑C ports, and an enhanced operating concept. For vehicle operations, TRANSTIRA uses digital services such as My TruckPoint and Fleetboard Uptime. These applications support the monitoring of vehicle data, maintenance planning, and the reduction of potential downtime.

“A decisive factor in the customer’s decision is predictable fuel consumption, as well as the vehicles’ total operating costs. At the same time, driver comfort, satisfaction, and working conditions are gaining increasing importance,” said Paulius Kraučiūnas, Sales Manager of the Truck Division at Veho—the Lithuanian subsidiary of the Finnish Veho Group responsible for the sales and service of Mercedes-Benz Trucks. “The Actros L ProCabin combines efficiency with modern ergonomics and a high level of comfort. This comprehensive package was the deciding factor. TRANSTIRA consistently relies on modern and efficient transport solutions for international road freight transport. We are delighted that the company has once again chosen Mercedes-Benz Trucks to expand its fleet.”
