Chinese electric truck maker Windrose has announced that former Scania E-mobility manager, Fredrik Allard, is about to join the company’s advisory board. As stated by Windrose on LinkedIn, Allard has recently led Scania’s electrification journey, “driving the development of electric vehicle solutions and new commercial models in close collaboration with customers and partners”.

Fredrik Allard “was responsible for Scania’s largest production division, overseeing approximately 9,000 employees across multiple European manufacturing sites. Fredrik brings a strong end-to-end perspective, combining strategy, operational excellence, and value creation in complex organizations”, added Windrose in its official note.

“We must almost remember to learn from the best of the established players in the industry”, commented Windrose founder and CEO, Wen Han. “Only together can we accelerate the electrification of world’s long-haul trucks”.

Windrose has recently made important steps forward towards full homologation for the European market. Furthermore, in a recent interview, Mr Han stated that the company’s target for 2026 is to sell over 2,000 electric heavy-duty trucks globally.
