Nordfrost, Germany’s leading frozen food logistics company, has taken delivery of its 1,000th S.KO COOL refrigerated semi-trailer from Schmitz Cargobull. The ceremony took place at the Schneiderkrug site and marked two milestones: the company’s 50th anniversary (founded in 1975) and a partnership with Schmitz Cargobull that has lasted for over thirty years.

For the group based in Schortens, Lower Saxony, this milestone has a value that goes beyond the round figure: it concerns the reliability of the fleet and its ability to adapt to the needs of customers in the food supply chain, from retail to wholesale, to import and export. “Quality and flexibility are two crucial aspects in offering optimal transport solutions throughout Europe,” said Britta Bartels, owner of Nordfrost.

The company uses vehicles equipped with dual evaporator refrigeration systems, capable of managing two temperature ranges in the same transport: a configuration that responds to the growing demand for efficient and diversified deliveries, especially in the widespread distribution of frozen products.

“Every S.KO COOL refrigerated semi-trailer is another step towards smooth transport. The delivery of the 1,000th unit is a strong signal,” commented Frank Reppenhagen, Director Western Europe at Schmitz Cargobull, who emphasized the role of technology in supporting stable and predictable logistics operations.
