Stoneridge will present its latest technologies for commercial vehicles at IAA Transportation 2026, highlighting solutions designed to support the industry’s transition towards software-defined vehicle architectures while improving safety, connectivity and operational efficiency.
The company’s showcase will feature two major innovations: the debut of the new EVO ECU platform and its Innovation Truck, a demonstrator equipped with advanced integrated vision systems and connected technologies for tractors and trailers.
A scalable ECU platform for software-defined vehicles
Developed by Stoneridge‘s advanced engineering team, the new EVO ECU is a scalable electronic control unit designed to help commercial vehicle manufacturers manage increasingly complex vehicle architectures.
The platform combines enhanced processing power, advanced connectivity and a flexible software architecture to simplify system integration while reducing overall development complexity and cost. Designed with future applications in mind, EVO ECU supports the growing demand for safety, cybersecurity and connectivity features as vehicle architectures continue to evolve.

According to Christian Leblanc, Global Vice President of Product and Project Management at Stoneridge, the new EVO ECU platform has been developed to provide the scalability required for future vehicle technologies while helping manufacturers simplify sourcing, validation and deployment processes.
Innovation Truck demonstrates integrated safety technologies
Visitors will also be able to explore Stoneridge’s Innovation Truck, a live demonstrator bringing together the company’s latest vision and connectivity solutions. Building on the success of the MirrorEye Camera Monitor System, with more than 150,000 systems produced globally, the demonstrator showcases how integrated vision technologies and connected vehicle systems can improve driver awareness, visibility and fleet operations while creating additional value for OEMs and fleet operators.
