Accelera by Cummins has obtained $75 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to transform 360,000 square feet of the company’s Columbus Engine Plant in Indiana for zero-emissions components and electric powertrain systems production.

This project will create around 250 new full-time jobs and offer our existing workforce exciting opportunities to transition into these innovative roles over time”, stated Accelera by Cummins on LinkedIn, commenting the news.
