There’s important news for customers (and potential customers) of GATE, the young company now part of the joint venture between DLL and Iveco Group following recent corporate developments. Starting on December 1, it will be possible to order the new light and heavy electric vehicles from the IVECO range, the eSuperJolly and the S-eWay, from the IVECO dealer network in Italy, France, and Germany. The offer will then be completed with the compact eJolly van, which can be ordered starting in the second half of 2026.

GATE: additional options for the pay-per-use rental model

The availability of these vehicles adds to that of the eDaily, with which the GATE project was born and took off. Moreover, as recently confirmed by the new GATE CEO, Elio Fonti, the future of the company will consist exclusively of electric vehicles and, in the medium term, commercial and industrial vehicles from other brands in addition to IVECO.

GATE’s pay-per-use model provides an agreed estimate of kilometers for billing purposes. The formula includes a monthly fee combined with a variable cost linked to the actual kilometers traveled. This approach allows companies to better control their annual spending and benefit from the flexibility of the pay-per-use model, using any excess kilometers during periods of lower activity. GATE solutions also include everything needed for complete vehicle management: registration and taxes, maintenance and repairs, tires, and insurance, with modular packages for every operational need.

“The expansion of the range marks a new phase in GATE’s growth,” said CEO Elio Fonti. “Starting today, with the opening of orders and the long-term rental offer for the eSuperJolly and the IVECO S-eWay road tractor, we are offering our customers 100% electric solutions that cover every professional need, from light to heavy duty vehicles. Our goal remains the same: to accompany companies in the transition to sustainable, simple, and worry-free mobility.”

The new vehicles’ technical features

More specifically, the new eSuperJolly has a load capacity of up to 17 cubic meters, a total ground weight of 3.5 to 4.25 tons, 200kW motor, and 110 kWh battery that guarantees a range of up to 420 km. The IVECO S-eWay road tractor, on the other hand, is the first fully electric heavy-duty vehicle in the GATE range. The latest generation 603kWh batteries ensure a range of up to 600 km. The electrified rear axle developed by FPT Industrial guarantees 480kW of continuous power.

The 100kW electric motor ensures driving comfort, and the two battery configurations of 49 or 75 kWh offer a range of up to 224 km and 352 km respectively, with fast charging of 100 km in just 15 minutes.
