Swiss Post has commissioned a modern Kempower DC fast charging system at its new logistics center in Villmergen. Jebsen & Jessen, an official distribution partner of Kempower in Switzerland, supplied the technology. A total of 16 charging points were commissioned to a setup including 14 Kempower Control Units equipped with 14 Kempower Cable Arms. Additionally, two Kempower Liquid-Cooled Satellites provide high power for fast-charging the vehicles.

Particularly noteworthy, according to Kempower, is the mixed use of the charging infrastructure: Swiss Post can charge both buses and trucks at the stations – a prime example of the high flexibility and scalability of the Kempower system.

Indeed, dynamic power distribution ensures that buses and trucks are always charged according to demand and are ready for operation exactly when they are needed. With this future-oriented solution, Swiss Post, Repower, Jebsen & Jessen, and Kempower are jointly making an important contribution to the sustainable mobility transition in Switzerland.
