Kempower charging systems equip Swiss post hub for electric trucks and buses
A total of 16 charging points were commissioned to a setup including 14 Kempower Control Units equipped with 14 Kempower Cable Arms. Additionally, two Kempower Liquid-Cooled Satellites provide high power for fast-charging the vehicles. Particularly noteworthy, according to Kempower, is the mixed use of the charging infrastructure: Swiss Post can charge both buses and trucks at the stations.
Swiss Post has commissioned a modern Kempower DC fast charging system at its new logistics center in Villmergen. Jebsen & Jessen, an official distribution partner of Kempower in Switzerland, supplied the technology. A total of 16 charging points were commissioned to a setup including 14 Kempower Control Units equipped with 14 Kempower Cable Arms. Additionally, two Kempower Liquid-Cooled Satellites provide high power for fast-charging the vehicles.
Particularly noteworthy, according to Kempower, is the mixed use of the charging infrastructure: Swiss Post can charge both buses and trucks at the stations – a prime example of the high flexibility and scalability of the Kempower system.
