Chinese electric truck maker Windrose will partner with DEKRA, a global player in testing, inspection, and certification. In the newly-announced collaboration, DEKRA and Windrose will be working together on critical aspects of safety and performance in electrified and automated transportation systems.

Indeed, rigorous vehicle safety testing and evaluation are going to enhance consumer protection through compliance with NCAP ratings and other industry benchmarks. Further, the partnership will explore the application of independent monitoring of battery health, based on DEKRA’s patented EV battery state-of-health diagnosis method.

As stated by the partners, DEKRA and Windrose will join forces to enhance the reliability of ADAS, improving road safety through comprehensive testing and validation. Additionally, the collaboration will focus on advancing vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connectivity, ensuring seamless communication between vehicles, infrastructure, and other road users to create a safer and more intelligent transportation ecosystem.
