Electric Truck

The Chinese manufacturer will bring two electric trucks, a battery-electric van and a plug-in hybrid pick-up to Hannover. JAC Motors' second appearance at IAA Transportation will also coincide with the continued expansion of its sales and service network across Europe.

Renault Trucks will put its expanding electric range in the spotlight at IAA Transportation 2026, led by the E-Tech T 780 long-haul tractor with up to 660 km of range. The manufacturer will also showcase electric distribution trucks and LCVs, alongside the world premiere of its 2027 T High.

Einride plans to deploy 500 Tesla Semi trucks across its North American freight network, in what the company describes as the world's largest Tesla Semi deployment to date. The trucks will serve Amazon and other customers, with the first vehicles entering operations from September 2026.

Two Scania battery-electric trucks are now hauling iron ore 1,250 metres underground at LKAB's Malmberget mine in Sweden. With a payload of more than 70 tonnes and 624 kWh batteries, the vehicles represent Scania's first battery-electric trucks deployed in heavy underground mining operations.

Dutch dairy transport specialist Van Der Mierden Transport has taken delivery of a distinctive DAF XD Electric for milk collection operations. The 4x2 electric tractor combines a 350 kW driveline and 525 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of more than 500 kilometres.
