Isuzu presents the full electric D-Max pick-up at CV Show 2026
The new electric pick-up delivers 149.3 kW and 347.6 Nm of torque from its 66.9 kWh battery and dual motors. According to the manufacturer, the New Isuzu D-Max EV charges from an AC supply (maximum 11 kW) within six hours, and from a DC supply (maximum 50 kW) up to 80% within one hour.
At Commercial Vehicles Show 2026, which started yesterday, April 21, in Birmingham, Isuzu ha introduced the first right-hand drive model of its well-known D-Max electric pick-up for the UK market. Delivering 149.3 kW and 347.6 Nm of torque from its 66.9 kWh battery and dual motors, the D-Max EV is the first fully electric commercial pick-up in the UK offering over 1-tonne payload.
The full-time four-wheel drive delivers four selectable regenerative charging levels, while an optional Eco drive mode extends the range of the D-Max EV. According to the manufacturer, the New Isuzu D-Max EV charges from an AC supply (maximum 11 kW) within six hours, and from a DC supply (maximum 50 kW) up to 80% within one hour.

Moreover, the new fully electric pick-up features the D-Max Rough Terrain Mode for improved off-road capability, with ground clearance of 210 mm, water wading up to 600 mm, and impressive off-road approach and departure angles of 30.5 degrees and 24.2 degrees respectively. The New Isuzu D-Max EV is available in Extended Cab and Double Cab configurations with eDL40 and eV-Cross trims levels featuring leather/high-grade cloth interiors.
