VIR by JP, subsidiary of the Jacky Perrenot Group, has taken delivery of a fleet of 40 IVECO eDaily. These vehicles are dedicated to home delivery services, primarily operating in the Paris region, with additional coverage in Bordeaux and Salon-de-Provence. The eDaily was awarded with the Sustainable Truck of the year in the Van category in 2024.

According to the user, these electric vehicles are supposed to travel for an average of 150 km daily, completing its routes with just a single overnight charge at the depot.

For its eDaily fleet, VIR by JP has chosen chassis-cab models fitted with a 23 m³ body. The vehicles are powered by a three-battery pack, offering a range of up to 330 km. With an electric motor delivering up to 140 kW (190 hp), and up to 400 Nm of torque, the eDaily is highly responsive and pleasant to drive. It seems that initial feedback from VIR by JP drivers has been very positive, praising the vehicles for their ease of use, comfort, and excellent handling.
