MAXUS expands its commercial vehicle line-up with new eDELIVER 5 Chassis Cab
MAXUS brought several additions to its commercial vehicle range to IAA Transportation 2026, including the new eDELIVER 5 Chassis Cab, the DELIVER 7 family and T60 pick-up. In Hannover, the SAIC-owned brand also showcased RoboVAN, its Level 4 autonomous vehicle concept for urban logistics.

IAA Transportation 2026 provided MAXUS with the opportunity to showcase an increasingly broad commercial vehicle range, spanning diesel and battery-electric vans, pick-ups and autonomous delivery concepts.
Among the most relevant novelties presented in Hannover was the eDELIVER 5 Chassis Cab, making its world premiere alongside the DELIVER 7 family and T60 pick-up. Looking further ahead, MAXUS also displayed its RoboVAN, developed for autonomous urban logistics.
eDELIVER 5 gains a Chassis Cab version
Already available as a compact electric van, the eDELIVER 5 is now being extended with a new Chassis Cab configuration.
The cab-chassis architecture opens the model to a wider range of professional conversions, including box bodies for parcel and express delivery operations. It therefore expands the potential applications of the eDELIVER 5 beyond the conventional panel van, targeting fleets, tradespeople and last-mile operators.
The DELIVER 7 also remains an important part of the MAXUS European range, with both diesel and battery-electric versions. A new nine-speed automatic transmission is being introduced as an option for the combustion-engined model.
The electric eDELIVER 7 offers up to 8.7 cubic metres of cargo capacity and is also available with all-wheel drive, broadening its potential use in more demanding operating conditions.

MAXUS also brought the new T60 diesel pick-up to Hannover. The model features an updated platform, exterior design and interior, while its engine delivers maximum torque of 400 Nm.
RoboVAN looks towards autonomous urban delivery
A rather different proposition comes from the MAXUS RoboVAN, an autonomous vehicle concept developed for driverless urban distribution.
The vehicle features Level 4 automation, supported by three LiDAR sensors and eleven cameras. MAXUS quotes payload capacity of up to 1,500 kg and more than 6 cubic metres of usable cargo volume. According to the manufacturer, SAIC’s autonomous driving technology has accumulated more than 10 million kilometres of testing.
