Finnish EV charging system manufacturer Kempower will supply its advanced DC fast chargers for EV Realty’s new, 76-stall fleet charging hub, in San Bernardino, California, US, which broke ground earlier this month. The hub is designed to charge more than 200 Class 8 trucks every day, and is set to be the largest grid-connected charging site in the US.

The site, strategically located near the San Bernardino Intermodal Facility and key freight corridors, will serve as a key charging gateway for regional and short-haul logistics operators.

The hub will feature Kempower’s modular DC fast-charging system, offering flexible power distribution across stalls to maximize uptime and optimize fleet operations. It will also feature two Kempower Megawatt Charging System (MCS) dispensers, Kempower’s first in North America.

“Kempower’s technology is built for reliability and scalability, exactly what fleet operators need as they transition to zero-emission transport, and as the number of electric trucks on the roads increases” said Kempower North America President Monil Malhotra. “We are proud to support EV Realty and keep fleets moving efficiently.”
