ACT Expo 2026, Kempower launches the Mega Satellite Flex system
The system will be available for sales in Europe and North America in July 2026 and will be showcased at events across Europe this summer. The launch comes as the commercial vehicle sector moves toward megawatt charging infrastructure for battery-electric trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.
At ACT Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, charging system manufacturer Kempower has introduced the Mega Satellite Flex, a new high-power charging dispenser supporting both CCS and MCS charging standards for heavy-duty electric vehicles. The system is designed for heavy-duty vehicle applications and supports charging outputs of up to 560 kW through CCS and up to 1.2 megawatts through MCS.

Kempower’s Mega Satellite Flex
The MCS rollout remains at an early stage, while fleets and infrastructure operators continue to operate CCS-equipped vehicles alongside incoming MCS-compatible models. Kempower states that the Mega Satellite Flex is intended to allow charging sites to serve both standards from the same dispenser configuration.
The Mega Satellite Flex is equipped with both a CCS connector and an MCS connector. According to the manufacturer, the CCS system delivers up to 700 A and charging power of up to 560 kW, while the MCS side supports up to 1,500 A and charging power reaching 1.2 MW.
According to Kempower, the system is compatible with both new and existing distributed charging systems within its product portfolio. The dispenser is also designed for multimodal charging environments, including heavy-duty commercial vehicles as well as passenger cars and vans based on 800V architectures. In addition, cable reach specifications include 5 meters for the CCS cable and 2.7 meters for the MCS cable. The dispenser can also be equipped with a payment terminal and is available with a DC energy meter for CE/IEC markets.
