pepper motion welcomed quite a lot of guests, at the end of September, to celebrate the inauguration of the company’s new headquarters in Denkendorf, Germany. It may not ring any bell to a lot of people, but pepper motion is the brand-new name of the former German electro mobility OEM e-troFit, which has recently presented a modular and scalable electrification kit for trucks weighing over 7.5 tons.

pepper motion’s new headquarters: some highlights of the opening event

One of the highlights was the keynote speech by Dr. Matthias Ballweg on the subject of the circular economy and retrofitting. He leads the Mobility and EU Policy Division at SYSTEMIQ – a globally active “system change company” driving the shift towards a sustainable economy. Together with the World Economic Forum, Ballweg is responsible for the ‘Circular Cars Initiative’, an alliance of many players from the mobility sector to promote the circular economy in the automotive industry.
