At Tokyo’s H2 & FC Expo, Symbio has unveiled its new fuel cell stack system, namely the patented StackPack 75. As stated by the manufacturer, with its 75-kW power output, the StackPack 75 fuel cell system is specially designed for heavy-duty use in urban and intercity buses and coaches, light and medium trucks, as well as off-road handling and construction equipment.

The new product has a volume of 268 L and a mass of 200 kg. Additionally, high operating temperature (85°C) improves heat dissipation efficiency and reduces cooling capacity requirements. As a result, the size of the cooling system and its fan power are also reduced.

Symbio’s new StackPack 75 is ready for large-scale production at Symbio’s SymphonHy gigafactory. SymphonHy and the development of the StackPack™ 75 technology have been supported by France Relance / France 2030 through the Hy2Tech Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) hydrogen program.
