The tests were carried out between January and March, when refined prototypes of the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 had to face temperatures falling as low as minus 35 degrees Celsius to prove their viability under adverse conditions. The eActros 600 will be serially produced from the end of 2024.

With 526,053 units, 1% more trucks and buses were sold worldwide in 2023 compared to prior-year level (520,291 units). As for ZE vehicles, Daimler Truck sold 3,443 zero-emission trucks and buses, 277% more than in the previous year (914 units). Slight decrease in sales expected in 2024.
